We had a good firework and bonfire party up at the lake Saturday night. The guy was made out of an old GUL wetsuit, with the head out of a bucket. He was fixed to an old mast and stuck in the air 4.6m (I guess) above the fire. Glass fibre doesn't last long as the resin catches fire quickly.

It was a case of bring one BIG firework only. Most people did, the display went on for 3/4 of an hour.

Why do we celebrate Guy Fawkes NOT blowing up the houses of parliament, surely it's the wrong way round? We should be sad?
